Young European trombone and tuba students have up to Tuesday, September 30 to participate in the new edition of “Maura Giorgetti” Scholarships, which every year Filarmonica and the Main Partner UniCredit allocate to the improvement of the musical training of the best talents. Young musicians between the ages of 15 and 24 (who are 15 years old on December 1, 2025 and have not yet turned 24 on December 3, 2025) can submit the application for registration, by consulting the announcement published on the site Www.filarmonica.it. The best candidates in each category will be awarded a scholarship worth €4,000. We add the UniCredit Award, an additional economic award worth 1000€ that UniCredit, Main Partner of the Filarmonica that has always been attentive to the development of culture in all its forms and the growth of young talents, will correspond to the youngest musician admitted to the final exam scheduled for December 3, 2025.
The Filarmonica Scholarships have brought violin talents such as Gennaro Cardaropoli, Teofil Milenkovic, Fabiola Tedesco, Lucilla Rose Mariotti, Francesco Papa; cellists such as Elena Piccotti, Serena Fantini, Luca Giovannini, Francesco Stefanelli, Ettore Pagano, Tobias Ingrosso and Clemente Zingariello and the flutist Emanuele Orsini and the clarinetist Giona Pasquetto, launching them to a professional career.
The competition, established in 2012 on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Philharmonic and in collaboration with the UniCredit Main Partner, is named after Maura Giorgetti, the organizational soul of the Association for many years.
